The Offshore Debate: The Future of Funds, Spring 2010

Our Keynote Speakers provided an overview of developments over the previous year and presented their views on what the future might hold. There were two dedicated panel sessions.

The first session considered developments in relation to the International Finance Centres and where the pressures from the EU, OECD and further afield will take us in the future; it was chaired by Richard Hay. The second panel session, which was chaired by Matthew Jones of AIMA, focused on the draft EU Alternative Investment Fund Manager Directive, and in particular, what impact the Directive will have on fund and fund manager domicile choice in the future.
